Examinations

Emergency Medical Sciences Training Institute offers monthly National Registry Practical Exams for the Paramedic student. We at EMSTI feel our exam is preferred by a majority of paramedic and EMT students primarily because of our team of quality paramedic training instructors.

We fill our test dates in the order applications and payments are received, so to reserve your seat for the month you plan to exam, please return your application and exam fees to the office as quickly as possible. Once we receive your payment, you will be mailed a confirmation letter and a map to the test site. This confirmation letter will give you pertinent information regarding the test and officially reserves your seat.

The EMT paramedic practical exams are held on Friday at 0730. Although we attempt to offer same day skills retest opportunities, we do not guarantee that they will be available.

For an additional fee, we also offer an optional skills prep course for paramedic students to be held Thursday morning from 0900 to 1700 prior to the practical exam. This course is directed by our paramedic training instructors and is designed to provide skills practice over the entire practical exam. It is not intended to provide or replace a solid cognitive and psychomotor foundation.
